Cuisine at Siya
It is literally true “you are what you eat” the notion that to be fit and healthy you need to eat good food. We at SIYA cook and serve food based on Ayurvedic philosophy. It denotes the balance of nature, more importantly the balance between us and the environment around us.
We believe in non-violence and quote from Bhagwad Geeta “अहिंसा परमो धर्मः” strictly suggests that. Spirituality being the core of our organization we follow vegetarian course of meals at all times.
The basic principle of cooking is to choose appropriate ingredients- raw ingredients those are available locally and are seasonal and organic in nature. Combination of ingredients is equally important to get desirable results as each individuals is different and predominant doshas in body differentiate as well. We focus on preparing the meal which doesn’t destroys its prana, so we avoid deep frying and keep a check on the food to prevent overcooking and burning. Our chefs are focused on providing you the meals rich in nutrients and food in our kitchen is cooked with keeping doshas in perspective which plays a very important role in your physical and emotional constitution.
If you’re predominately a pitta, cooling foods and spices help balance out your fiery nature. For cooler vatas, warming foods are better. And for kaphas, foods that are light, warm, and dry work best. At SIYA dishes are completely inspired by Ayurveda and primary serves Indian cuisine. Continental, Mexican and Oriental gourmet Vegetarian cuisine can be cooked on special request.
